R.C. Goodwin specializes in cultural resource management (CRM), section 106 compliance, archaeology, architectural history, and history services.
R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., (RCG&A) a cultural resource management firm with a nationwide practice, has openings for junior to mid-level Architectural Historians in our Frederick and Maryland offices. Candidates must possess experience in and applied knowledge of American architectural history with an emphasis on the eastern and southern United States. Working knowledge of historic preservation laws, regulations, and guidelines also are prerequisite. Minimum qualifications are B.A. in the field with 3 years of full-time work experience; MA or MS with 1-3 years of full-time work experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in architectural survey (archival research, recording, photography, analysis) required. Ability to travel; strong computer, analytical and writing skills; and the ability to collaborate on project teams are essential.
These are full-time, salaried positions with full benefits. Salaries are commensurate with education and professional experience.
