What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver customized Division 8 specifications for projects
- Manage relationships with architectural firms and provide specification support
- Collaborate with sales teams to align project strategies and ensure compliance
- Conduct training events for architectural clients to promote Allegion's products
- Utilize CRM and specification software to manage project data effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–10 years of experience in the door hardware or architectural industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic door hardware solutions
- Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam; experience with CAD and Revit is beneficial
- Ability to travel up to 25% within assigned territory; Overnights up to 10%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CDT credential preferred; progress toward AHC certification through DHI strongly encouraged
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive action
- Effective project management and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and specification writing tools
