      Job Description

      The Area Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across our properties in the Maldives. This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across multiple resort properties.
      • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring optimal performance and the achievement of sales goals.
      • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand our client base and enhance market share.
      • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
      • Collaboration: Work closely with property management teams to align sales initiatives with overarching business objectives.
      • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
      • Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
      • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to elevate brand visibility and generate leads.

      Qualifications

      • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
      • Experience: Minimum of Luxury Sales experience of 10 years in sales leadership roles, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
      • Track Record: Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
      • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
      • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
      • Travel: Willingness to travel as required.

      Additional Information

      • Position is based in Minor Hotels head office in Bangkok, Thailand, at The PARQ building
      • Role oversees 3 resorts in the Maldives: Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, and NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort
