      Role Overview:
      As an Area Manager - Outbound and Delivery, you will play a crucial role in our complex and fast-paced logistics network. This dynamic position combines responsibilities across our Fulfillment Center (FC) and Delivery Station (DS) operations, requiring a versatile leader who can seamlessly manage both outbound processes and delivery preparations.

      You'll be at the forefront of our customer-facing operations, ensuring that millions of packages are processed efficiently and prepared for timely delivery. Your focus will span four key areas: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity. You'll be responsible for leading a diverse team of associates, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement in our outbound and delivery operations.

      Team Leadership:
      - Manage and develop a team of warehouse associates and delivery personnel
      - Oversee performance, provide training, and address team member needs
      - Collaborate with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient operations

      Operational Management:
      - Review work forecasts and set productivity targets to meet overall building objectives
      - Oversee the outbound process from order fulfillment to last-mile delivery preparation
      - Monitor and improve KPIs such as On-Time Dispatch and First Day Delivery Success

      Safety & Compliance:
      - Implement and support all safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
      - Maintain a safe work environment for all associates in both FC and DS areas

      Process Improvement:
      - Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools
      - Analyze metrics to find root causes and drive operational enhancements
      - Develop practical solutions to complex problems without compromising quality

      Cross-functional Collaboration:
      - Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth outbound and delivery operations
      - Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to relevant departments

      Innovation & Adaptability:
      - Embrace and lead change in Amazon's fast-paced environment
      - Support the implementation of new systems and processes in outbound and delivery operations


      A day in the life
      - Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
      - Operate in both Fulfillment Center and Delivery Station settings
      - Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced atmosphere- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
      - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
      - Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
      - Speak, write, and read fluently in English
      - Speak, write, and read fluently in Portuguese
      - Employee and performance management experience- Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques
      - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
