What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the consultative sales process for DFA Farm Supplies products and services, including member education
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed Key Performance Indexes set by management
- Document sales interactions in Salesforce within 24 hours
- Plan and execute farm visits within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with team members and vendor representatives to address member needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Animal Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in direct on-farm sales or equivalent business experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales budgets through maintaining existing business and developing new customers
- Familiarity with dairy farms and dairy farming practices
- Ability to effectively manage a defined territory and organize multiple activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of "consumable" type dairy supplies
- Excellent communication skills for educating members on product benefits
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a structured environment
- Experience coordinating fulfillment of products and services for agricultural clients
