ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an Area Visual Merchandiser at Diesel you are responsible for partnering with the T R and Visual Managers and Area Retail teams in planning, execution and maintaining of windows, styling, merchandising and the general store environment across all channels within your area.
Ensuring that the Global Visual Merchandising Guidelines are executed in a modern and innovative way combining creativity and commerciality to allow our customers to experience the Diesel brand first hand across all channels and stores. Custom¬er and shopping experience focused the Area Visual role should secure the brand identity through visual merchandising at the same time securing standards through the use of company directives and training.
All channels within the Diesel organization includes mono-brand stores, depart¬ment stores, outlets, concessions, showrooms and wholesale doors as well as any other visual and marketing activities such as showrooms, events or press days.
Consistently represents and understands the Diesel Brand values and communi¬cates them to all store teams and all external partners. Seen as a brand ambassador by spreading and demonstrating our Diesel DNA and supporting the Diesel Brand image through Diesel dress code.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Windows Restyling
- Responsible for final window, creative and styling in line with global guide¬lines brand expectations
- Ensure excellence in execution and maintenance of all store windows within their responsibility
- Monthly planning, instalment and refresh of windows mannequin looks• Visual Merchandising Directives
- Responsible for executing the global guidelines and upholding visual stand¬ards across all channels visual activities
- Apply HQ and Local VM directives as well as reactivity actions according to the store needs.
- Monthly planning, instalment and refreshes of delivery and product launches• Field Presence
- Focus on key cities in order to drive image of brand in key locations
- Ensure all secondary tiers receive the adequate support in order to achieve• Brand and business expectations
- Weekly visits within their field of responsibility• Sales
- Secure the Diesel brand identity through indirect service and garment presentation
- Maximise profit, commerciality and sales through cross-function teamwork through store team and visual manager
- Sales reactivity• Communication
- Partnership with T R Manager and VM Manager for all activities related to visual merchandising
- For Retail you will work with the Retail Management Team, Store Management Teams and In-store Visual Merchandisers
- For Wholesale Retail you will work with the Commercial Management Team and external partners
- Share communications and provide timely feedback on projects and launches
- Photo Feedback of window in-store launches
• Training People Development
- Alongside the Retail and Store Management teams and the Visual manager, the Area Visual Merchandiser must identify talent as well as support the development and succession planning within their area
