- Architecture and Components: They would have a strong grasp of the Argo platform's architecture, its various modules, components, and how they interact. This includes understanding the underlying technologies it's built upon (which could be .NET based, given the "Core .NET Technologies" competency).
- Customization and Configuration: Experience in customizing and configuring the Argo platform to meet specific banking requirements. This might involve working with configuration files, UI customizations, workflow engines, and business rule management systems within Argo.
- Integration Capabilities: Proficiency in integrating Argo with other banking systems (core banking, CRM, etc.) using various integration methods (APIs, message queues, etc.).
- Data Model: A solid understanding of Argo's data model and how it relates to banking entities (customers, accounts, loans, etc.).
- Performance Optimization: Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the Argo environment.
- Security Best Practices: Implementing and adhering to security guidelines within the Argo platform, especially concerning sensitive financial data.
- Teller Operations: A thorough understanding of branch banking processes, cash management, transaction processing (deposits, withdrawals, transfers), regulatory compliance related to teller activities, and common teller workflows.

- Argo Sales & Service: Experience with how the Argo platform supports customer relationship management, sales processes for banking products, customer service workflows, and potentially integration with CRM systems.
- Regulatory Compliance in Banking: Awareness of relevant banking regulations and how they impact the development and implementation of these systems.
- Argo Specific Development Tools: Proficiency in any specific development tools or SDKs provided by the Argo platform vendor.
- Database Skills: Strong SQL skills to interact with the databases underlying the Argo platform.
- Web Development (if applicable): Depending on the Argo platform, this might include experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and related frameworks.
