  Armed Boutique Officers in Luxury Brand/High End Retail

  SMSSI is currently recruiting Armed Boutique officers to work within a retail operation.

  
  

  This high profile boutique position will require long periods of standing in a high-end boutique observing pedestrian traffic and monitoring product.

  
  

  This is a standing post.

  
  

  Successful candidates will be provided with high-end attire (suits).

  
  

  ** OFFICERS WILL WORK IN AIR-CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENTS **

  
  Position: High End Retail Security Officer - Armed
  

  Location: Las Vegas (Strip)
  

  Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday 10am-9pm
  

  Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
  

  Requirements:

  Active Nevada PILB security license

  All firearm qualifications must be up to date

  Current CCW permit

  2+ years armed security experience

  Luxury retail security experience

  Current PILB Armed work card

  Personal firearm with level 3 holster and duty belt

  
  

  **ALL ABOVE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED**
  
  Duties will include :

  • Customer service
  • Strict Access Control
  • Long hours standing on feet
  • Foot patrol of the facility
  • CCTV Monitoring
  • De-escalation of belligerent customers.
  • Remaining vigilant for trespassers and unauthorized access to the facility

  Primary Purpose and Function

  The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned Boutique locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to monitoring and reporting all activity, reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons, writing detailed narrative reports, maintaining daily activity reports (DAR’s), enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

  
  

  Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  The following are the duties that are necessary to satisfy the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

  • Responsible for executing security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and accompanying policy and procedural guidelines and as directed by SMSSI Management.
  • May be responsible for conducting detailed counts alongside clients and maintaining count records.
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting security threats, unsafe conditions or hazards, and/or other emergency situations.
  • Responsible for site-specific duties and tasks based on assignment, which may include customer service, loss prevention, retail security, lobby/visitor reception, and/or a variety of other safety and security roles.
  • Write detailed, accurate, and legible incident reports during shift, including notation of any unusual activities and how issues were resolved. Responsible for contacting appropriate individuals (Site Supervision, Field Management, etc.) as directed by site post orders or as needed during shift.
  • Responsible for knowing all site-specific policies and procedures and implementing emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Responsible for following all company procedures, maintaining acceptable attendance, and adhering to all grooming and customer service standards.
  • Responsible for participating in all company and site required orientation and training programs.

  
  

  Education Requirements (All)

  HS Diploma
  GED or H.S. Equivalent
  

  Certification Requirements (All)

  Nevada Armed PILB License
  Nevada CCW permit
  Personal Firearm Ownership
