      Job Description

      In Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada:

      Allied Universal Security is seeking Armed Security Professionals to join our Justice Building Team working alongside the Court system in a full time schedule!

      Must have minimum of 3 years of verifiable ARMED employment OR equivalent military, LEO, or CO.

      Ideal candidates must:

      • Have required 3+ years of Armed Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or Corrections experience
      • 21+ years of age
      • MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NEVADA PILB GUARD CARD; NOT EXPIRED, CCW, OR PROVISIONAL
      • Reliable Transportation (outside of public transportation routes)
      • Flexible 24/7 Scheduling
      • Possess the ability of stand/walk extended hours
      • Possess the ability to pass the courts’ background process

      Pay $20.60 Hourly

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
      • Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
      • Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
      • Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons.
      • Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
      • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
      • Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

      QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

      • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
      • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
      • Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
      • Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
      • Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
      • Able to complete all range qualifications and functions

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

      • Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
