Generating and managing opportunities for asset recovery transactions
Prospecting new accounts and reactivating underutilized relationships
Mapping out target accounts and identifying demand/supply availability
Utilizing proprietary systems such as QTrade to manage trading activities
Negotiating transaction terms and executing purchase orders
Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships
Partnering cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, and commodity managers to drive trading performance
Staying current with industry trends, pricing, and competitive alternatives
Participating in the creation of programmatic purchasing strategies
2 - 3 years of experience in the electronics industry or B2B telesales
Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships
Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the EMEA component market
Fluent in English and German (additional EMEA languages are a plus)
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A self-starter/motivator with a proactive, results-driven mindset
A team player with a strong sense of responsibility and discretion

What will you be doing at Converge?
As an ARS Buyer (Asset Recovery Service), you will play a key role in identifying, acquiring, and managing supply opportunities for computer hardware, components, semiconductors, and other electronic assets across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for engaging and growing relationships with OEM and EMS customers to enable reciprocal trading.
You will act as a trusted trading partner and solution provider, working closely with our global teams to create value for both vendors and internal stakeholders.
