      About the Opportunity:

      We seek an experienced and innovative Art Director/Product Manager to join the Manduka team. In this role, you will support our creative direction, shape our visual identity, and help drive the creative output for all brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design and project management, a deep understanding of brand aesthetics, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Support the creative director/agency with developing creative concepts, visual designs, and brand guidelines that align with Manduka’s mission, values, and target audience.

      Lead creative reviews and deployment with cross-functional teams, including marketing, eComm, product development, and sales, translating business objectives into compelling visual solutions.

      Serve as the senior graphic designer, responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing creative solutions across various projects.

      Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.

      Manage both in house and freelance graphic design team, providing briefing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development.

      Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project issues and risks, escalating as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

      Resolve project-related conflicts through skilled negotiation, tact, and diplomacy, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

      Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to elevate Manduka’s visual identity and design capabilities continuously.

      Work closely with external partners, agencies, and vendors to execute projects on time and within budget.

      What You Bring:

      An intimate understanding of the mindset of yoga and the consumer with the ability to authentically convey concepts and brand ethos.

      Schedule and lead creative sessions for project kick-offs.

      Ability to start and follow marketing briefs and shoot sheets.

      Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to the leadership team.

      Experience managing a team and budget, with a deep understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.

      Excellent knowledge of Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software, with a passion for typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

      Comfort interacting and collaborating across all departments, with an objective approach to creative development.

      Passion for yoga and wellness is a plus.

      Qualifications:

      A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

      5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of leading successful design projects and teams.

      Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.

      Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

      Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

      Passion for yoga, wellness, and sustainable living is a plus.
