      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI adoption across state government to enhance efficiency and service delivery
      - Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI opportunities that benefit Colorado residents
      - Provide expert advice on AI technologies, data governance, and responsible AI practices to various agencies
      - Establish processes for AI project assessment, approval, and compliance with state objectives
      - Champion responsible AI practices and promote transparency and accountability in AI initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence, including machine learning and natural language processing
      - At least 5 years of leadership experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives
      - Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineers and data scientists
      - Experience in product/program management, preferably with a focus on technology or AI-driven products

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working in the public sector or with government agencies
      - Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices
      - Familiarity with relevant state and federal laws and regulations regarding AI
      - Grant proposal development experience
      - Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
