Summary

The Pinthouse Brewing Bakery Team prepares high-quality breads, pretzels, and desserts daily for our amazing guests. We are making a variety of breads. Our dough is shaped by hand, always using high-quality ingredients including house-brewed beer! As we grow our brand we are excited to build our team with individuals who bring positive attitudes, creative problem solving, and a team-centric, hospitality-forward mentality. Those duties include following coordinated baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pretzels and other goods.

Prerequisite Skills

• Have a passion for Sourdough, Pizza Dough, Other Breads and desserts

• Detail-oriented and Hospitality-forward

• Flexibility to work around customer demand

• Ability to work with team members and individually complete tasks

• Proficient in Time Management

• Predictable AM schedule with weekend availability required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Respond positively to coaching, mentoring and guidance

• Food Handler’s Certification

• Be able to stand for long periods of time

• Experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook or similar role

• Certification or degree from a culinary school is a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing checklists, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks

• Follow Kitchen Standards without deviation.

• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use.

• Follow the recipe cards exactly

• Dough production (Shaping, Proofing, Baking, Cooling, Cutting.)

• Familiarity with how to use, clean and store all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters properly

• Understanding and execution of food safety practices.

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

• Team spirit, with a hospitality-focused attitude

• Assess the quality of raw materials throughout the entire process..

• Handle, store and rotate all products properly.

Pay Level

• Compensation Range: $17/hr - $21/hr
