Position: AS400 Developer

Locations: Minneapolis, KS 67467/Remote

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

• Responsible for performing system analysis and providing technical support for AS400 application.

• Efficient knowledge on AS400- RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, DB2.

• Involve in root cause analysis for incidents or problems.

• Perform impact analysis, debugging, coding, and testing as per change requests.

• Supporting daily issues, using ServiceNow application to create/update incident tickets, problem tickets and write knowledge article for the root cause of the issue.

• Perform coding, maintenance, implementation, production support and testing.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and develop ways to improve applications.

• Involve in monitoring the jobs and fix if any job failure occurs in production.

• To interact and engage with various application teams interfacing with A+ to resolve issues and ensure business continuity.

• Involve in the query preparation, data extraction using STRSQL and WRKQRY.

• Post-Implementation support for change request.

• Optimizing and enhancing existing application to improve performance and functionality.

• Conduct meeting with the business/end user for requirements/clarification of a request.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience in AS400

• Extensive experience in RPG/400, RPGLE, CL/400, DB2/400, OS/400

• Extensive experience in STRSQL and WRKQRY

• Extensive experience in CL/400, CLLE
