Overview

A busy and kind family of four is seeking a fantastic housekeeper to assist them at their home in the West Village. The schedule for this role will generally be Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm, but flexible for the right candidate. The family will be moving to the new home in September, so the start-date for this role is September 1 at the latest, but the family is happy to have the right candidate start immediately if desired. The family is also seeking a houseman/driver/butler for the home and is open to a couple or two separate people.

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning and daily tidying in conjunction with existing housekeeper
• Creating and maintaining household organization systems
• Daily laundry
• Assisting in the kitchen with basis prep- chopping vegetables, etc.
• Providing service during events and parties
• Packing for travel

Qualifications

• Team player- the family has a solid existing staff structure
• Self-starter who takes initiative
• Discreet and polished
• Willing to help in the kitchen as needed
• Kind and joyful presence

Requirements

• US work authorization
• Available to start September 1 or sooner
• Experience in high-end homes and with fine furnishings and linens

Salary and Benefits

• $40-50/hr.
