In Apheresis & infusion, we provide a variety of therapies for patients from pediatrics to adults. Services provided include acute and chronic apheresis procedures, outpatient therapeutic phlebotomies/manual exchange transfusion, outpatient blood transfusions, immunoglobulin replacement, antibiotic infusion, monoclonal B infusion, research drug infusion, chemotherapy administration, and hydration.

ASA V - HUC will work with the Apheresis Nurse Coordinator and assist in the coordination of care provided by the caregiving team. They ensure patient throughput, unit resources, and phone communications are addressed in a timely manner.

During the assigned work period, ASA V – HUCs will review patient seating, answer the phone, schedule patients, communicate updates to clinical staff, manage floor stock food supplies, and manage incoming calls.
