  Job Title: ASIC Verification Engineer

  Job Description

  - Develop scalable testbench components for verifying critical RTL and firmware features using UVM.

  - Demonstrate expertise in Alphawave SerDes and DSP cores; develop test cases to control these components optimally.

  - Oversee the end-to-end verification flow, from verification plan creation and review to implementation and sign-off on tape-out.

  - Collaborate with the design team to develop verification requirements and define critical feature scopes.

  - Mentor junior team members.

  Delivery of standard compliant IP blocks and/or Sub Systems for use with OTN/Ethernet/CXL/ PCIe ASICs.

  Simplify the ASIC development process by utilizing cutting-edge scripts and tools.

  Microarchitecture the design and record it. Utilizing Verilog, develop the design.

  Create and run separate test cases for the RTL issues, and monitor bug reports from the beginning to the end.

  Assist internal and/or external engineers with the verification, validation, and delivery of designs intended for usage in OTN/Ethernet FPGAs or ASICs.

  We are seeking candidates with expertise in developing ASICs as well as knowledge of Telecommunications Protocols (OTN, Ethernet, CXL, PCIe, etc.).

  Main Requirements

  • 5 Plus Years UVM Experience
  • System Verilog experience
  • 6 Months Plus PCIe
  • Subsystem Level Verification (Transaction, data link)

  Soft Skills

  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborative work with design teams
  • Strong communication skills

  Job Type

  This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

  Work Site

  This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Ottawa and some days remote.
