      Description

      BASIC FUNCTION:

      Under direct supervision, assembles or fits together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies.

      MAJOR DUTIES:

      1. Performs simple, routine, and repetitive tasks.
      2. Uses standard procedures, tools, and equipment.
      3. Assembles standard components and parts.
      4. Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor.

      Qualifications


      QUALIFICATIONS:

      General knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, equipment, and blueprint reading is preferred. Ability to read precision measuring tools is required. Skills may be gained through practical experience and/or on-the-job training.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

      Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required.

      ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

      All work will be done in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with Company policies, priorities and needs. The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.

      Performance will be measured on the function/duties described in the position description, accomplishments during the review period, and the methods/work skills used to achieve the goals.
