Job Description
- Req#: 332577
- Work with wire form boards for routing wire.
- Operate the wire laser marker and laser label marker.
- Learn and operate the DITMCO machine to include trouble shooting errors.
- Use a variety of hand tools to include crimping and cutting tools.
- Works to crew loads and follows written and verbal work instructions.
- Solder certified.
- Work towards Operator Verification certification in accordance with wire shop processes.
- Perform all crimping, stripping, soldering and other termination functions required for wire harnesses assembly using manufacturer instructions, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
- Required to perform scheduled/unscheduled inspections.
- Some drilling and riveting at times may be required.
- Performs repairs and modifications per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements.
- Comprehensive Communication Skills, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate Computer Skills- MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. (All daily work instructions, documents, and specifications are accessed via computer).
- High School Diploma or GED
- Aircraft maintenance or assembly experience.
- Formal training from a recognized program considered in lieu of experience.
- Mechanical ability demonstrated from another industry considered in lieu of aircraft experience.
- Wire building background strongly preferred.

Assembler Electrician
This position is for the Wire shop which will consist of harness fabrication, cable assembly, electrical junction box assembly, control boxes and other electrical components that will go on aircraft such as Bell V22 Osprey, H1 Viper, H1 Venom, or 525 Relentless, V280, some experimental work and other future aircraft. The Assembler Electrician will be responsible for performing in accordance with documented procedures, approved engineering drawings and established industry standards.
