- Using work orders or instructions to assemble units
- Pulling parts from inventory to assemble part kits and prepare for shipment
- Fastening parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, and other fasteners
- Using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers to assemble parts
- Cleaning the workspace
- Following visual work orders displayed on computers and tablets at each station
- 6 months or more of manufacturing experience (assembly, machine operating, quality, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow work orders
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Experience with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly
- Must own or purchase steel-toe shoes prior to start date
- Experience in machine building and using power tools
- Knowledge of schematic reading
- General production skills

Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and assembly, with a strong ability to follow work orders and use hand tools. This role involves assembling units, pulling parts from inventory, fastening parts together, and cleaning the workspace. The position offers opportunities for occasional overtime and requires working on either the 1st or 2nd shift.

Work Environment
Schedules are Monday to Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. The first shift runs from 5am to 3pm, and the second shift from 3pm to 1am. The assembly area is clean, organized, and designed to support an efficient workflow. We design and build cleaning equipment for industrial and commercial markets, ensuring a professional and safe work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
