      Job Summary

      This entry level position utilizes technical and mechanical knowledge under direct guidance in order to assemble and package compression and production equipment.

      Job Duties & Responsibilities

      • Interprets customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
      • Manipulates various tools to complete assigned tasks
      • Utilizes electrical and mechanical skills to complete tasks
      • Utilizes knowledge of structural layout, piping/tubing and electrical controls and systems
      • Performs other duties as assigned

      Job Specific Skills

      • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
      • Basic understanding of wiring/piping schematics
      • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
      • Working knowledge of algebra and basic knowledge of geometry

      Education & Experience

      Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience

      Additional Qualifications

      Knowledge of machines, tools, designs, uses, repair and maintenance preferred Intermediate welding knowledge preferred Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
