      Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks Assemblers who are motivated to work on our Manufacturing team! SEL fosters a collaborative culture in a light manufacturing environment, that is clean and safe. In addition to a starting salary of $20.00 (plus $1.75 shift differential for second shift employees) per hour, employee owners also receive a full benefits package. This position is available for second shift (2:00pm-10:00pm)

      As an Assembler, a typical day might include the following:

      • Following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.
      • Learning and following all safety policies.
      • Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
      • Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

      Physical Requirements

      Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently

      Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours

      Vision correctable to 20/30 or better

      Pay Range Data

      New hires generally start at $20.00 per hour. Second shift employees also receive a shift differential of $1.75. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
