Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling automatic safety doors, riveting, sheeting, and working with very thin stainless steel. You will also be applying adhesive to fabric materials, folding fabric according to specifications, and performing other repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automatic safety doors using riveting, sheeting, and gluing techniques.
• Read and interpret measurements accurately.
• Work in the folded department, adding adhesive to fabric materials and folding them according to specifications.
• Handle small pieces with patience and perform multi-step processes.
• Engage in mechanical assembly tasks, including heavy lifting and working with greasy components.
• Utilize power tools for buffing, grinding, and other repair tasks.
• Work as part of a team to disassemble and rebuild components.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements.
• Experience with riveting, sheeting, and gluing.
• Proficiency in using power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Patience and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive and monotonous tasks.
• Experience working with small pieces.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a dirty environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $33280.00/yr.
