Job Description
- Req#: ASSEM005685
- Stock all cages with merchandise
- make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly
- removing any damaged merchandise and take to repair shop
- pull merchandise for deliveries in a timely fashion
- assembly merchandise for next day deliveries
- keep warehouse area clean
- open merchandise
- move items off-loading belts
- maintenance of all cages
- removing trash from work area
- sweeping work area
- receive product from sections
- inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections
- use proper procedures when working with knifes, flat carts, and lifting merchandise
- account for all scheduled items for next day delivery, checking for shortages through auditing the manifest
- assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed
- check daily closing assignments and responsibilities
- use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
- Perform any other duties as directed by management
Pay: $14.13-16.34
Schedule: Weekends are a must!
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR ASSEMBLER:
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR ASSEMBLER: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; ability to work in a face paced environment; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
