      Manufacturing Technician

      Job Description

      The Process Associate III will collaborate with other production team members in an assigned production area, aiming to meet production schedules in accordance with quality, cost, delivery, technical, and safety standards. This position involves various hands-on roles that are essential to the everyday operations.

      Responsibilities

      • Use hand and power tools as well as fixtures and molds.
      • Perform repetitive work with small parts under a magnifying glass or microscope.
      • Handle delicate materials with care.
      • Follow blueprints and technical drawings for product assembly.
      • Conduct mechanical assembly, potting, and soldering applications.
      • Assemble products according to technical drawings, specifications, documents, and blueprints.
      • Test products using specialized equipment such as electronic volt meters, helium leak test equipment, and digital X-ray systems.
      • Set up and program equipment like laser beam welders.
      • Execute process procedures for all aspects of cell manufacture and assembly.
      • Operate specialized equipment like winders, wrappers, filling systems, X-ray machines, stackers, welders, activation systems, mixers, coaters, calendaring, slitting, blanking equipment, and surface grinders.
      • Perform product quality self-inspections.
      • Maintain computer-generated documentation and record-keeping.
      • Work safely with chemical compounds.

      Essential Skills

      • Basic computer and math skills.
      • Experience with hand and power tools.
      • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
      • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
      • Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.
      • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
      • Excellent attendance and reliability.
      • Team player with good housekeeping practices.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High School Diploma or GED.
      • Ability to work overtime or alternate work schedules as needed.
      • Flexible and adaptable to change.

      Work Environment

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
