      Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30 pm

      Pay: Weekly pay, starting at $16.85 + $1/hr Weekly Attendance Bonus. Eligible for raise after 30 days with Bronze program

      • Purpose: Participates in the process of assembling and packing products by utilizing hands, fixtures, and basic hand and power tools. Not limited to a single task. Assemblers may rotate tasks throughout the assembly line process so each Assembler is familiar with every step. Assemblers will learn to assemble a wide variety of products.

        Position Prerequisite:

        Must meet the following requirements:

        1. Complies with all rules and regulations of Agri-Fab, Inc. and actively contributes to workplace safety.
        2. Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner in all dealings with co-workers and management.
        3. Actively participates in training; stays current and in compliance with required annual safety training.
        4. Supports manufacturing improvement programs and initiatives. Offers and helps implement improvement suggestions.
        5. Maintains a clean, orderly and safe working environment; wears and utilizes all PPE required for each job.
        6. Follows standard work and work instructions.
        7. Displays a high degree of attention to detail.
        8. Displays appropriate sense of urgency in communicating concerns (safety, quality, etc.).
        9. Cross-trains in order to perform all tasks in job rotation.
        10. Works overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required.

        Essential Functions

        This position’s essential functions vary due to rotating assignments and include but are not limited to:

        1. Parts Bag
          1. Accurately places required hardware and other miscellaneous items into bag according to work instruction.
          2. May initial completed parts bags.
          3. Places sealed bag on assembly line/or in product carton.
          4. Accurately completes quality documents.
        2. Sub-Assembly/Assembly
          1. Accurately assembles products according to the work instructions.
        3. Place in the Box
          1. Organizes and accurately places parts inside carton according to work instructions.
        4. Final Pack
          1. May build carton for unit.
          2. Packs unit in designated carton according to work instructions.
          3. Ensures all parts are in carton and accurate.
          4. Closes carton and may place on pallet.
          5. Monitors and records hourly production numbers.
        5. Additional functions
          1. Monitors own quality and that of previous stations.
          2. Builds carton for unit according to work instruction.
          3. Helps other assembly stations on line to maintain appropriate pace.
          4. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
          5. Meets or exceed production rates and quality standards.
          6. Uses sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners to produce a finished good or manufactured part.
          7. Performs required PMs as scheduled.
          8. Must be versatile and willing to work in ALL Assembly areas
          9. Help Support changeovers when needed

          1. Applies common sense when following written and oral instructions.
          2. Reads, interprets, and takes action on written instruction.
        4. Physical Requirements and Manual Dexterity
          1. Mental and physical endurance.
          2. Ability to work alone or with a group
          3. Constant standing throughout shift, with occasional walking.
          4. Frequent bending, lifting, carrying; may be required to lift up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis.
          5. Fine motor skills for assembly of small parts.
          6. Effective use of appropriate fixtures, basic hand and power tools.

        Work Environment

        1. Subject to hot temperatures.
        2. May be subject to loud working environment.
        3. Skin may be exposed to petroleum based grease and oils.
