- Client's Final Assembly Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Assembly Engineer.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to lead equipment and vehicle planning, standardization, and Equipment installations for North America at client.
- Reporting to the Final Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Final Assembly's department's objective to plan future Assembly plant activities at client
- Onsite role.
- (30%) Equipment Planning for upcoming model changes/Plant introduction
- (30%) Standardize layouts/designs for future model
- (30%) Install and implement new process equipment
- (10%) New Technology investigations/Special Projects and proof of concepts
- Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Client
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
- MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to travel up to 25% to all NAM's as well as Japan/Canada/Mexico
- Ability to work up to 30% overtime (Weekend and shut down periods) 10-12 hours shift
- This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position
- This position will require support for equipment installation and start up for both Summer and Winter Shutdown periods including potential to support 2nd shift activities; candidate must be able to meet these schedules as required
- This person will work on Shop floor, Basic PPE.

- AutoCAD Experience
