- Recertifying and manufacturing validation plates including Absorbance (ABS1), Fluorescence (FL1), and Luminescence (LM1) validation plates.
- Troubleshooting validation plates.
- Repairing validation plates.
- Assembly of validation plates.
- Reassembly of validation plates.
- Packaging and unpacking validation plates.
- Associates Degree with 0-1 years of calibration technician experience or equivalent.
- Experience with assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to be hands-on with equipment and packaging.
- Strong focus and pride in the quality of work.
- Results-oriented with a track record for delivering and sustaining results.
- Stretch-oriented and embraces challenges.
- Continuous improvement-oriented; participates in Kaizens, has familiarity with lean principles and how to apply them to value streams.
- Customer service-oriented with a high sense of urgency to satisfy customer needs.
- 1 year experience in Assembly.
- Good oral communication.
- Can work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays.
Description/Comment: The Assembly Technician will need to assemble and test optical and electromechanical instruments in a team environment. Technicians are accountable for product quality, on-time delivery, and all compliance requirements. This role reports to the Service Operations Manager and will work with depot and Customer Relations teams during the recertification processes. Great opportunity to learn a diverse set of instruments, improve problem-solving skills, and learn the Danaher Business System (DBS), and industry-leading set of lean manufacturing tools.
