      Req#: ASSEM001884

      Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

      Essential Job Responsibilities:

      1. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

      2. Ability to solder with HMP & SN96.

      3. Ability to use hand crimpers set to engineering specifications.

      4. Measure and record data using multimeter and megaohm meters.

      5. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

      6. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

      7. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

      8. Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

      9. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

      10. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

      11. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

      12. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

      13. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

      14. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

      15. All other duties as assigned. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

      Employee may perform other related duties as necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company. Requirements: High School Diploma, must be able to speak and read English, Inventory and MRP experience is a plus. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Forklift License a plus.
