Job Description

- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets (hardware, software, licenses) and oversee the deployment and distribution of assets to end-users or relevant departments throughout their lifecycle
- Develop and implement asset lifecycle management processes, including retirement and disposal procedures
- Monitor, install, configure, update, test, and troubleshoot a wide variety of issues on servers and workstations
- Perform root cause analysis for complex, repetitive issues
- Act as an escalation point for internal IT service desk to provide advanced systems support to Build-A-Bear stores and corporate offices.
- Work closely with Core Infrastructure, IT Security, Enterprise Systems, and Development teams to support hardware, software, networking, and security tools
- 2 or 4 year degree in Information Technology
- 5 years’ experience in both asset management systems and IT hardware/software administration
- IT A+ Certification in asset management
- Powershell Scripting
- Configuration Manager\Intune
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)
- Certification in Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager and/or Azure
- An analytical, inquiring, and critical mind that solves complex problems

This role is accountable for monitoring, installing, configuring and troubleshooting a wide variety of issues on servers and workstations. As well as accountability for the management of all IT assets for Build-A-Bear and ensure proper focus is placed on asset management to positively impact our cost of doing business and our ability to grow and scale.
