- Req#: 81549
- Conduct reviews of asset risks and opportunities for Offshore Operations and ensure the consistent application of the Asset Engineering Risks and Opportunities (AERO) assessment process across the offshore fleet working with relevant stakeholders from Operations and Engineering experts.
- Actively engage with business functions such as Engineering, Development, Construction and Operations, as well as other HSSE teams, to ensure Asset & Plant related risks are managed effectively
- Monitor and evaluate Asset and Plant Safety related incidents whilst ensuring appropriate investigations are undertaken and actions implemented.
- Provide flexible and responsive support for the production of Case to Operate and Operational Plant Modification assessments, working closely with Operations and Engineering.
- Support the progressive integration of Asset Risk and Asset and Plant Safety processes, including process training and communication tasks.
- Support the Project management mitigation projects within our Offshore Operations fleet
- Work together with other international teams in Engineering, HSE, Finance and Operations to find and execute optimal solutions for technical risk mitigation or exploitation of opportunities.
- Ensure Asset & Plant Safety standards and Asset Risks lessons learned are adopted in RWE Offshore Wind technical specifications and future Offshore designs
- Successfully completed university studies or equivalent in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- First operational experience and technical competence in relation to engineering assets.
- Practical Asset & Plant Safety or Asset Risk Management experience, ideally in an international environment is an advantage.
- Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively and deliver results in situations where stakeholders have conflicting interests and priorities.
- Solid communication skills: can confidently communicate complex theoretical concepts and ideas in easily understood terms and investigate issues in a professional and assertive way. Able to prepare and deliver structured and compelling reports and written and verbal presentations on complex technical topics
- Able and willing to travel regularly, including internationally.
- Precise, persistent and thorough, able to set and maintain quality standards for their work but able to respond flexibly to the short term demands of the operational business.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, additional language(s) desirable.

To start as soon as possible, Full time / Part time, Fixed TermDue to a secondment, this role presents an opportunity for you to play a crucial role in the shaping and development of the management of Asset & Plant Safety and Asset risk within RWE Offshore Wind. This role will be formative in shaping the core processes and activities of the team, communicating and embedding them into the operational offshore business, ensuring that processes are developed and improved in response to feedback. The role will support to ensure and implement appropriate mitigations to multi-€m individual risks, with a significant cumulative impact upon the business.
