About the Role:

We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Accounting Manager to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role supporting a well-established company in the Travel & Tourism space. You'll manage day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with a collaborative team.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise a team responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable, and General Ledger

• Oversee daily accounting operations

• Support and mentor a cross-trained team in a collaborative, high-touch environment

• Communicate regularly with internal agents and ensure smooth financial processes
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Industry experience in travel, tourism, transportation (e.g. cruises), subscription travel, or private aviation required.

• Familiarity with industry specific software, such as TRAMS, Tres, ClientBase, TourWriter software is a bonus

• Excellent communication and people skills - you'll be a key point of contact for agents and internal teams

• Ability to lead with patience, professionalism, and accountability
