1. Assist the Head Coach in planning choreography for Gulf Coast Dance Team routines throughout the season. - Camp, Competition, Half-Time Show, Side-Line Routines, Pep-rallies, Parades, Basketball, and Spring Dance Showcase Routines.2. Collaborate on social media initiatives to promote the Gulf Coast Dance Team and Gulf Coast Dance Program.3. Participate in purchasing decisions for costumes, equipment, and other necessary items throughout the season.4. Assist Head Coach in all aspects of planning, promoting the following Gulf Coast Dance Team events, as well as attending and actively participating in all designated events, including but not limited to:
a. Cheerleading Summer Intensive (2nd Week of July)b. Universal Dance Camp in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (July)c. UCA Nationals Traditional Choreography (August)d. Pre-Season Training (August)e. Fall Cheerleading Recruitment Clinics (October & November)f. Home and Away Football Gamesg. Spirit Squad’s Haunted House (October)h. Bulldog Bash Cheer Competition (November)i. Additional Competition Practices (December-January)j. Universal Cheer Association's National College Cheer Championships (January)k. Basketball Gamesl. Spring Cheerleading Recruitment Clinics (February & March)m. MGCCC Cheerleading Tryouts (April)n. UCA Nationals Game Day Choreography (June)o. Gulf Coast Cheerleading Youth Summer Clinics (June)
5. Commit to attending all cheerleading practices as well as events outlined above, and any additional events or practices deemed necessary by the Head Cheerleading Coach.6. Perform other duties as requested by the Head Cheerleading Coach, chairperson for the School of Visual & Performing Arts, Dean of Teaching and Learning, and/or Campus Vice President.About the company
