      Be our next Assistant Community Outreach Specialist (Part Time)

      EXP US Services is seeking an Assistant Community Outreach Specialist to join our team in the Key West area. The ideal candidate is local to Marathon, Lower Keys, or Key West area, an outgoing person experienced in communications and/or marketing, customer-service focus is required. Someone who will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

      Your work environment at EXP

      The Assistant Community Outreach Specialist needs to be customer-service focus. Assists in addressing and resolving public concerns related to projects. Assists with the planning and implementation of public meetings and special events.

      What a day at EXP has in store for you

      • Performs customer satisfaction surveys
      • Performs website updates and audits
      • Assists with door-to-door dissemination of project-specific information
      • Supports public meetings and special events
      • Prepares materials and staffs sign-in table
      • Supports the activities of the Community Outreach Specialist as needed and approved
      • Tracks and prepares electronic file with all project communication of each project upon completion for submission to the Department’s Project Manager
      • Executes other duties relevant to the position Assisting with the development of strategic alliances and partnerships
      • Adhering to government communications protocols and other requirements
      • Responsible for working closely with teams and on individual projects, often multiple projects at one time

      What your experience looks like

      • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
      • Strong experience with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
      • Ability to perform responsibilities with a significant degree of independence, initiative, creativity, and expert judgment.
      • Deadline and detail oriented.
      • Familiarity with digital communications, including websites, social media, signage, direct mail campaigns, and graphic design.
      • Willingness to travel to project locations.

      The hourly rate for this position will be $22-26hr.
