      Assistant Construction Superintendent

      Job Description

      We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and self-starter, eager to learn and grow within the company. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects that include commercial, industrial, recreational, and k-12 across the central Indiana area, assisting the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general assistant duties.

      The successful candidate will be very tech savvy and ready to move from project to project, contributing to larger projects and gaining valuable experience in the field. This position is 100% in the field and is ideal for candidates with aspirations of becoming Project Managers, Superintendents, or Estimators.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Assist the on-site Superintendent with daily paperwork and documentation.
      • Utilize technology to streamline project management and communication.
      • Perform general assistant duties, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
      • Support the team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
      • Travel between project sites as needed, adapting to different project requirements.
      • Engage in continuous learning and development to advance within the company.
      • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

      Job Requirements

      • College degree related to Construction Management or Construction Engineering
      • May consider non-degreed candidates with relevant experience and technological proficiency
      • 1 year of experience reading blueprints for site plans
      • 1 year of experience working on construction sites
      • Proficient in Procore and Building Schedule Software

      Nice To Have

      • Preferred – Experience on Tenan Buildouts and Multifamily
      • Preferred – Experience with MS Project and Bluebeam
      • Preferred – Experience working as General Contractor
      • Preferred – Experience on Ground-Up Construction

      Work Environment

      The work environment involves being on site from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm. Some weekends may be required depending on project needs. This role offers a monthly truck allowance and phone allowance, providing support for transportation and communication. Compensation will depend on specific relevant experience.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
