We’ll also look to you to collaborate with our commercial teams and suppliers, as well as our ecommerce operational teams, to make sure we deliver product, range, price, and promotions effectively and accurately. If you’ve got experience of working in e-commerce or digital merchandising, along with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and partners, then we can offer you the opportunity to grow your career and make a real difference to our members, customers, and communities.

      What you’ll do

      • Manage the end-to-end range process on our website and partner websites, making sure that all content, media, and navigation achieve optimum storefront health
      • Achieve sales and profit targets by platform
      • Be responsible for product availability and merchandising our website accordingly
      • Manage on site activity and promotional plans to enhance the online customer journey
      • Build relationships with key internal partners across the business to regularly improve the online shopping experience
      • Optimise search engine performance to drive sales and conversion
      • Use a variety of commercial reporting and customer analytics tools to report such as Google Analytics and Contentsquare

This role would suit people who have

      • Strong ecommerce or digital merchandising experience
      • The ability to build relationships cross-functionally and with senior business leader both internally and externally
      • Commercial experience and the ability to manage a P&L and margins on our websites
      • Experience using Excel to an intermediate level
      • Excellent communication skills
      • The ability to contribute to strategy, think strategically and support our vision for the medium and long term

      Why Co-op?

If you have the skills that we need, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services).

      • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
      • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
      • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
      • Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
      • Coaching and training to support your career development
      • Wagestream app – giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn
      • YuLife app – rewarding you for exercising with discounts and vouchers for your favourite brands
