What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead design and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and schedule
- Develop, track, and modify project schedules and budgets throughout all phases
- Serve as a liaison between Acute/BH RVPs, CEOs, and the design and construction team
- Prepare monthly reports for senior leadership and oversee claims review and evaluation
- Continually seek improvements and innovations in project delivery and management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of design and construction experience in an acute hospital setting
- Strong leadership and full-service project management experience overseeing design and construction
- Proven negotiating skills and strong interpersonal abilities to lead vendors
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with local AHJs and applicable approval processes is advantageous
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing projects over $50 million
- Background in transition planning and development experience
- Knowledge of code and permit processes relevant to healthcare construction
- Proven ability to maximize project team member skills for positive outcomes
