What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, draft, and maintain document solutions for Principal Trust Company to meet client needs
- Consult on agreement provisions in collaboration with legal counsel and business partners
- Analyze and communicate complex legislative and compliance issues affecting trust and custody documents
- Oversee governance and creation of agreements for all trust company clients
- Participate in presentations to committees, including the Principal Trust Company Board
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, plus 10+ years of experience in retirement, ERISA, or employee benefits
- Experience in banking, law, accounting, or consulting firms valued
- Superior technical expertise and understanding of industry trends
- Proven skills in consulting, negotiation, and communication
- Ability to cultivate relationships with plan sponsor management and internal teams
