The Assistant Director, Creative Services will assist with all content efforts for Ohio State Football, including but not limited to social media and internal football programing. Responsible for shooting video and/or photos at games, practices and special events. This role will assist with social media ideation and strategy and will actively create and develops content for the @OhioStateFB social channels. In addition, this role will creates and develop content and assists with The Platform and creates and analyze weekly social media reports for main @OhioStateFB channels. The Assistant Director will be responsible for content distribution through Opendorse. This position is required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours as well as being required to work quickly, efficiently, and with adaptability under strict deadlines. Responsible for projects from start to finish. Ensures compliance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as they relate to daily football operations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite products including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator required; 1-2 years work experience and strong creative process of design principles required; Proven success designing responsive/adaptive design. Proficient skills in digital and print design required. Knowledge of a collegiate athletics department and passion for sports desired. Strong communication skills, creativity, and flexibility desired. Ability to work on multiple tasks under time constraints effectively required.
Desired Qualifications:Working knowledge of After Effects and photography skills. Experience with NCAA and Big Ten rules and policies; experience in a Division I football program.
