What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the Research and Education department in providing knowledge-based support to Medical College of Virginia (MCV) Campus programs
- Manage the VCU Medical Center Health and Wellness Library operations and collaborate with partners
- Lead outreach programming efforts to local communities through the Health and Wellness Library
- Collaboratively develop programming for the Health Sciences Library and Health and Wellness Library
- Develop and sustain relationships that advance the VCU Libraries' mission

What is Required (Qualifications):
- ALA-accredited graduate degree or accredited graduate degree in an appropriate discipline
- Experience as a liaison/subject specialist in an academic health sciences or research library
- Demonstrated knowledge of health sciences resources and evidence synthesis
- Experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring health sciences librarians or staff
- Commitment to fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment

- Knowledge of emerging trends in academic health sciences librarianship
- Experience teaching graduate and professional students
- Proficiency in technology in administrative and learning environments
- Service orientation and relationship-building skills
