ResponsibilitiesCanyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Assistant Director of Inpatient Clinical Services to join our team.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.
We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services will support the Director of Clinical Services in overseeing clinical programming across levels of care and with an emphasis on leading the outpatient program. Providing training, orientation and mentoring of new staff and interns including required suicide assessment training.
Ensures co-signing of staff and intern documentation as is required to ensure compliance with funder and Joint Commission Standards.
Delivers and coordinates clinical and administrative supervision to remain in alignment with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Drives the clinical program outcomes and compliance with outcome measures and safety planning for every outpatient patient.
Ensures outpatient department compliance with same day documentation requirements and timely closure of outpatient charts.
Acts as a liaison with the universities and schools as is necessary to ensure success of the internship program.
Works collaboratively with the other departments and helps set a tone of positivity and teamwork.
