BCIU Administration Main Office - Administration of IT Services: Efficiently administer and oversee all IT services provided by BCIU personnel, including task delegation, personnel management, professional development, mentoring, and supervision of IT staff.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the development and administration of departmental and program budgets within the Office of Information Technology, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage project plans for key program deliverables, ensuring successful execution as part of the Office’s portfolio management process.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent industry certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the information technology field including broad exposure to a variety of information technology functions and responsibilities including:
- Leadership: Proven leadership in management, staff supervision, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Summary of position:
To provide supervision and leadership in the delivery of all Information Technology services offered by the Berks County Intermediate Unit. And to serve as the operational lead and support for the Chief Information Officer, acting as the Chief Information Officer's liaison and delegation of authority whenever warranted.Job Responsibilities (see attached job description for additional details):

d. Service level agreements and budgeting
e. Project management
Schedule:Exempt, Full-time, Twelve months/year. This position may be eligible for a telework arrangement.
Salary:
Salary range is $113,058 to $152,963 (commensurate on experience) as established by the Intermediate Unit Board of Directors per the Compensation and Benefits Plan for Leadership Team, SRI 28.
