      • Directly supervise professional and student staff, including an Area Coordinator (AC), at least two Graduate Residence Directors (GRD), and 20+ Resident Assistants (RA).

      • Schedule bi-weekly one-on-one conversations with direct reports, and weekly all-staff meetings.

      • Maintain posted office hours rotating between residence halls within assigned campus.

      • Coordinate with the Associate Director of Residential Education (ADRE) and/or the Associate Director of Residential Operations (ADRO) on the execution of a department-critical focus area. This may include, but is not limited to RA recruitment and selection , RA and GRD training, residential housing process, and other department functions.

      • Serve in the Supervisor on Call rotation with the other Assistant Director and Area Coordinators.

      • In addition to serving as a hearing advisor for medium- to high-level conduct cases, stay current on all incident reports written within assigned campus.

      • Conduct bi-weekly daytime walking rounds of residence halls within assigned campus, finding areas of improvement and following up on submitted work-orders.

      • Use StarRez to keep accurate records of occupancy within assigned campus.

      u00A0

      • In coordination with the Area Coordinator for assigned campus, provide a high level of student support through mediation of conflicts and meetings with students of concern.

      • Oversee and facilitate residential student programming model, ensuring staff within assigned campus execute outlined expectations each semester.

      • As a 12-month position, the Assistant Director will be assigned to one or more University-critical processes occurring during the summer months, including but not limited to, Orientation, Conference & Events, RA Training, and Move-In.

      • With members of the Central Office, attend weekly meetings with campus partners, such as Facilities/ABM, Student Conduct, CARES, and more.

      • Facilitate the creation of performance goals and conduct regular evaluations of direct reports.

      • Under the direction of the ADRO, facilitate the Room Change process for residence halls within assigned campus.

      • Facilitate Alcohol Education workshops on behalf of Student Conduct.
