      Description:

      Reporting to the Director of Housing & TCard Services in the Division of Student Life, this role is responsible for recommending short and long-term business plans and developing technology plans to support and enhance the processes and services associated with the TCard. The incumbent develops communications strategies and TCard/UTORid services and programs in collaboration with tricampus partners in IT, ancillary/retail services and registrarial services as well as other University stakeholders and external merchants as relevant. The incumbent also develops TCard policies and processes and oversees the administration of the TCard.

      Qualificaitons Required:

      I. EDUCATION:

      University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


      II. EXPERIENCE:

      A minimum of 4 years’ experience, with progressive supervisory roles, working in a student service or IT help desk setting. Experience implementing and maintaining complex administrative and database systems. Experience leading work teams, training on complex systems, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve outcomes. Experience with Tableau, ROSI, UTORauth, would be an asset. Experience with card production and photo submission software would be an asset.


      III. SKILLS:

      Superior organizational and project management skills. Excellent analytical skills, ability to synthesize data and produce effective reports. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications skills. Effective presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage system/web/IT solutions. Strong diplomacy skills and understanding of how to manage confidential information. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

      IV. OTHER:

      Ability to prioritize work, ability to deal with multiple demands with time-sensitive pressure, ability to work under constant pressure and stress; proven ability to exercise sound judgment, proven ability to deal with matters of extreme sensitivity and confidentiality. Demonstrated commitment to optimization of work efficiency and rationalization of procedures.
