Assistant Global Product Line Manager, Luxury Audio

Job Description

- Provide support for the global product development team during the creation of new products for the Luxury Audio BU.
- Conduct market research and perform competitive benchmark testing.
- Directly create and coordinate with internal teams on the creation of assets required for new products introductions including owner’s manuals, quick-start guides, spec sheets, and regional NPI presentations for forecasting.
- Liaise with engineering and project management in support of the GPLM team to ensure new products development remains on track.
- Develop and deploy product training and e-learning for new product introductions.
- Work with the E-commerce team to provide assets and support for products to be assorted online.
- Create monthly NPI development reports for BU leadership including regional monthly NPI call decks.
- Coordinate with global regional sales teams in support of the GPLM team to gather forecast data and share new product information.
- Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams in support of the GPLM team for marketing projects, show events, and other activities as assigned.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in a product development or marketing content creation team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related studies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- A positive team player mentality with a creative mind and an eye for detail.
- Basic proficiency with graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- Technical writing proficiency for consumer electronics or similar products.
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
- Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic and international travel.
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

As the Assistant Global Product Line Manager, you will support the team throughout the product development process, including market research, competitive benchmarking, engineering, project management coordination, product asset creation (owner’s manuals, quick-start guides, spec sheets, etc.), training and e-learning content creation, websites, and e-commerce asset support and coordination, monthly NPI reports, marketing projects, shows and events, and additional activities as assigned. .
