      Key Job Elements

      Minimum Skills:
      • Perform data entry of Accounts Payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner;
      • Process all invoices received within 48 hours of receipt utilizing basic problem-solving skills (purchase order research);
      • Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate record keeping and problem solve any issues;
      • Ensure compliance with departmental standards (processing/ scanning goals);
      • Follow established Accounting policies & procedures;
      • Scan AP documents for indexing into imaging system;
      • Gather and report accrual data;
      • Ensure data entry is up to date in order to meet month end deadlines.

      Advanced Skills:
      • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned;
      • Support the efforts of the Accounting Manager to achieve corporate/departmental goals and objectives;
      • Run a variety of reports to analyze data and accruals;
      • Vendor Maintenance;
      • Prepare month-end checklist for the plant. Ensure closing is on time and accurate;
      • Ensure that cutoff for production orders, shipping, billing and goods received is accurate;
      • Insure that account reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately with detailed supporting schedules;
      • Assist in preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual business plan; provide trended analysis and projections.

      Education / Training

      • 2-5 years of experience or Specific Experience or Bachelor Degree.

      Qualifications and Experience

      • Associate's degree or higher level of education preferred;
      • Advanced Windows Operating Systems experience and/or Linux;
      • Intermediate to advance Level of proficiency in Excel.
