What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Abstract and enter charges for various departments including OR, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, and Emergency Department
- Reconcile data against edit reports and maintain statistics related to charge entry functions
- Ensure accurate charge capture using EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure successful performance of assigned duties
- Maintain a flexible work pace appropriate to the workload

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCs, and ICD10 coding principles
- Experience in charge capture with EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated data entry experience and proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

- Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
