- A demonstrable understanding of double entry bookkeeping , to include experience input of monthly expenditure, prepayments and income accruals/deferrals and other general ledger journals during month end process and other ad hoc requirements whilst maintaining audit trail records.
- Demonstrable experience in management accounting role including dealing with service managers/customers
- Experience of providing financial information and reports to finance colleagues
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with customers and finance colleagues.
- Competent level of IT literacy with experience in use of financial systems, Microsoft Office programmes and reporting tools
- Good data analysis skills, with ability to identify and utilise information from a range of sources.
- Ability to extract and analyse data and sensitive information and appropriately communicate this in a clear and concise manner to colleagues at all levels
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and set own priorities
- Advanced Typing Skills
- Understanding of the NHS operating environment including NHS organisation and regulatory structure
- Strong commitment to both the Trusts and NHS principles and values

Job summary
2 ROLES AVAILABLE - 30 hours per week & 22.5 hours per week.
Base: London House/Remote Working
We are seeking a driven and innovative professional to join our financial management team. The successful candidate will be working within a team to develop and deliver accurate financial information to the Trust and to allow services to make informed decisions.
We work collaboratively with other teams whilst being strong, self-starting individuals. You will be at the heart of the development of this reporting with the potential to influence the way the Trust works and having a real impact on patient services with the insights we can provide.
Experience with aledger system as well as good excel and analytical skills are essential.
Currently the finance team are working in a hybrid fashion, with time divided between the office in Bracknell and home working. There are regular face to face team meetings and working sessions at our London House office to help maintain a strong collaborative approach to our work.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of the Financial Management Team, with either the Mental Health or Children's Team, taking responsibility for provision of accurate and timely ledger information under the guidance of the Finance Business Partner.
You will be part of a dedicated teamproviding support to the whole team.
You willbe the key contact for parts of the service portfolio we look after.
