      At our location in Singapore - Daimler Commercial Vehicles South East Asia Pte. Ltd. (DCVSEA) is the Regional Center for Daimler’s commercial vehicle business in South East Asia and Southern Asia. Our team of over 70 colleagues is responsible to develop the truck & bus business for the brands Mercedes-Benz, FUSO and BharatBenz in more than 20 markets across South East Asia and beyond.       We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to join the Regional Center South East Asia (RC SEA) to manage projects for Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, handle cross-functional management of Sales and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and be the Technical Support to our partners / key customers.
      The detailed description is outlined below:
      1. Projects and Key Account Management
      • Understand the needs, manage the requirements, and demands of our partners / key customers, and provide excellent customer relationship management.
      • Visit customers to gather service feedback and identify potential problems.
      • Build and maintain rapport with our partners / key customers.
      • Conduct regular field visits to workshops and bodybuilders for proactive support.
      • Be the main liaison between internal and external stakeholders, regarding technical inquiries until resolution. In the process, to provide consultation with counterparts of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks Department in Germany.
      • Address and resolve customers’ concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
      • Recommend and implement measures to ensure proper resolution of issue/problem.
      • Ensuring the quality before and during Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) so that high-quality standards are met by the bodybuilders during the retrofit of equipment.
      • Provide support for customer service, PDI, and driver training during delivery to end-user.
      • Lead and participate in department and inter-department committees and project meetings.
      • Provide commercial and technical offers to our partners in assigned countries
      2. Technical Product Advisory and Parts Management
      • Plan and coordinate with our partners / key customers to gather feedback about parts demand and availability and to identify and resolve potential problems with the customers.
      • Address parts demand to the various internal and external stakeholders, and monitor parts availability
      • Follow-up activities and coordinate and ensure availability of necessary parts, service instructions etc.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on MB Trucks (mainly AROCS products)
      • Recommend and coordinate the implementation of solutions for service problems.
      • Work with RC SEA Customer Service & Parts Sales (CSP) team on technical issues on defect, support, and parts
      • Support on technical documentation.
      3. Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
      • Support our partners / key customers in all logistics and service topics.
      • Coordination of Technical Training rollouts.
      • Provide technical assistance and support and ensure all internal processes are adhered to.
      • Supporting role in ILS failure report tracking and rectification.
      • Supporting role in the publication of technical documents.
      • Manage the rollout of service measures and field service actions.
      And any other reasonable assigned tasks and projects.

      Minimum Tertiary Education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent courses
      At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Sales or After-Sales Key Account Management and/or Project Management for commercial vehicles.
      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      Ability to work independently and work in a team.
      Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
      Experience in technical product advisory, ILS management, and cross-functional management is preferred.
      Experience in working with government organizations.
      Willingness to travel within the region and overseas.
      Good skills in Office 365 applications (MS Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, etc.) and remote work.
      Knowledge of defense truck products, preferably Mercedes-Benz MB Special Trucks.
      This position is based in location Singapore under the entity Daimler Commercial Vehicles South East Asia Pte. Ltd., and may be offered at a lower job level based on candidate’s experience. A valid and approved work visa is required for employment in Singapore in accordance to local labour law regulations.
