      Job Summary
      The Assistant Manager, Operations is a key part of the store leadership team, responsible for ensuring smooth and successful retail operations. This includes managing business enablers like financials, P&L, budget, expenses, and vendor relationships. They also handle inventory, supplies, technology, facilities, scheduling, and administrative activities such as payroll. Additionally, they execute company projects and initiatives at the store level.

      Core Responsibilities

      • Implement and cascade the Store Manager's Operations vision.
      • Plan weekly team schedules considering labor needs, availability, and budget.
      • Assess and fulfill needs on the retail floor dynamically.
      • Monitor and manage budgets, P&L, and other business metrics, informing planning processes.
      • Lead retail floor operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Support sell-through by maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating deliveries.
      • Execute directives, projects, and initiatives from the corporate level.
      • Maintain a safe work environment following safety policies and regulations.

      Leadership and People

      • Create an inclusive, respectful team environment that celebrates differences.
      • Support team administration, including payroll, time-off, and shift swaps.
      • Communicate projected team growth needs to support diversity and strength.
      • Build supportive relationships focused on development.

      Guest Experience and Community

      • Ensure a seamless guest experience through omnichannel programs.
      • Collaborate to optimize guest interactions and resolve issues effectively.

      Budget Responsibility

      • Manage delegated aspects of the store budget and labor hours.

      People Management

      • Indirectly oversee a subset of store employees as delegated by the Store Manager.

      Job Requirements

      • Legal authorization to work in the store's country.
      • Reliable transportation for travel to the store.

      Schedule/Availability

      • Variable schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

      Experience

      • At least 1 year managing business operations, scheduling, and projects.

      Preferred Assets

      • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • Retail or sales management experience.

      Work Context

      • Bright environment with loud music.
      • Work involves teamwork and independent tasks.
      • May involve conflict management, relationship building, and technical device use.
      • Physical activity includes moving through the store and lifting up to 30 lbs.

      Compensation & Benefits

      Base pay: $27.31 - $36.95/hr, with a target bonus of 25%. Total range: $34.14 - $46.19/hr.
